Per was born in Guatemala and grew up in Sweden.
In
2002 Per graduated in Communication Art and Design from the Royal
College of Art
in London. His first full time job was as an Art Editor and Project
Designer for The
Times Educational Supplement. This job also included an exciting
paper engineering
project called The Global Village. Per later joined Andersen Consulting
as a web and
interactive new media designer.
In 2004, started his own illustration and graphic design studio,
Perpictures
(www.perpictures.com). Per now works with a broad spectrum of clients
and projects,
including annul reports, animation, packaging, editorial work, book
covers, posters,
educational material, merchandising and much more.
Per also illustrates his own stories for a series of children books.
His characters also feature
on colouring books and games which he both designs and illustrates.
On this website,
you can find information on his work as children’s author
and illustrator. Per likes drawing
people and animals in action. At the moment he particularly likes
to draw Tonkel dinosaurs
and small Tinkels. Occasionally he also teaches and lectures about
art and design on
graduate and undergraduate courses both in England and in Sweden.
